EPWP Employment openings presently live for X3Semi-Skilled Environmental Monitor within the Biodiversity Social systems Environmental Monitor Programme in the Agulhas National Park. The below state positions are fixed contracts up to the end of 31 March 2026. Successful seeker will be reporting directly to Section Ranger/ Ranger Sergeant.
The appointed actors or Environmental Examiner will be paid a pay envelope rate of R208 per day as per Expanded Public works Programme rates.

Conditions:
- Grade 12/ NCV Level 4 qualification( Standard 10).
- Interest in working in a nature conservation terrain.
- Good communication chops.
- Willing to work flexible hours e.g. weekends and after hours.
- Must be in good physical health and able of performing field duties.
- Successful campaigners will have to suffer medical fitness examination through a medical guru.
- Understanding of introductory principles of Health and Safety.
- No felonious record (SAPS) Verification will be done.
- Computer knowledge will be added as an advantage.
- Introductory Firefighting training will be added as an advantage.
- Preference will be given to those between 18- 35 times.
Liabilities
- Assist with the operation of tools, outfit, vehicles and structure, pesticide, stock control and asset operation.
- Manage in- field administration- including Timesheets, H&S roster, logbooks, and reports.
- Help with monitoring and recording of resource operation data.
- Handling and resolving conflict and they arise and give support and provocation to contractors.
- Help with fire operation.
- Hedge integrity monitoring, introductory conservation and clearing around the camp.
- Ecological monitoring, Restoration, invasive Alien Species clearing.
- Waste operation reporting and support to programmes.
- Sharing in community and environmental mindfulness programmes.
- Help with applicable Conservation conditioning when needed.
- Needed to work Ad- hoc duties when demanded.
