What You Will Be Doing for Ericsson South Africa Telecommunication Network Operations Learnership

Successful learners will gain practical exposure in:

  • Installing cables, antennas, microwave dishes, and communication equipment
  • Erecting telecommunication tower components using ropes, pulleys, and cables
  • Removing, repairing, and maintaining telecommunication equipment
  • Working with fiber optic, coaxial, and DC power cables
  • Conducting audits, upgrades, maintenance, and emergency repairs
  • Following workplace health and safety regulations
  • Assisting team leaders with operational duties
  • Completing Ericsson’s required tower training programme
