  • Vacancy 1- Revenue Accounts Intern

Division: Revenue Accounts

Requirements:

  • National Diploma / Degree in Accounting/Finance.

Responsibilities:

  • Assist with client invoicing
  • Assist with accounts/debtor reconciliation and reporting
  • Assist with the collection of outstanding accounts
  • Assist with cash book capturing
  • Respond to enquiries regarding areas of responsibility in a way that enhances and promotes the image of the Council
  • Reports to the Debtors Controller on all matters regarding KPAs

  • Assist with the processing of supplier invoices/ claims into the accounting system.
  • Assist in accurately and timely capturing corporate credit card expenditure.
  • Assist with sending payment notifications to suppliers/ claimants.
  • Assist with the reconciliation of accounts payable (creditors) against supplier statements.
  • Assist with weekly electronic filing.
  • Respond to enquiries regarding areas of responsibility in a way that enhances and promotes the image of the Council.
  • Report to the Financial Controller on all matters regarding KPAs.

Division: Information Technology

Requirements:

  • A Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or Information Technology or related qualification

Responsibilities:

  • Assist with the installation, configuration and maintenance of hardware and software.
  • Provide technical support to staff, diagnosing and resolving IT-related issues.
  • Provide support in maintaining and troubleshooting the network, server, and hardware infrastructure.
  • Conduct research on new technologies and recommend improvements to enhance the IT infrastructure.

  • Assist in providing technical support and troubleshooting the telephony system including IP phones, PABX and voicemail services.
  • Reports to the Manager Information Technology on all matters regarding KPAs
