Job Description:
This position is a 24-month contract within the Technical Services Unit of our Technology Development and Engineering department.
As a Graduate Software Engineer, you will be tasked with developing new technical software systems and enhancing existing systems to drive continuous improvement in operational efficiency.
Your work will involve innovating and solving complex problems, requiring both theoretical knowledge and practical application. Occasional travel to Namibia for offshore installations and software support will be necessary.
This role presents a unique opportunity for recent graduates eager to shape a smarter future in the mining industry. The two-year graduate program within De Beers Marine, based in Cape Town, allows you to contribute to real projects while following a structured learning and development journey.

Qualifications:
Formal Qualifications:
- Degree in BSc Computer Science (Honors) or a Computer Science degree with a focus on Software Engineering subjects
- Completed your degree within the last 2 years
- No more than two years of relevant work experience
