Are you an unemployed youth in the Northern Cape looking to kickstart a career in Road Traffic and Law Enforcement? Joe Morolong Local Municipality, in collaboration with the Department of Land Reform, is inviting suitable candidates to apply for its 12-month Learnership Programme for the 2025/2026 intake.

This initiative aims to equip young people with valuable skills while addressing youth unemployment in the region. Successful candidates will undergo training to obtain a Certificate in Road Traffic and Law Enforcement (NQF Level 4).

Position Details

  • Position: Learnership: Traffic Trainees (X6)
  • Duration: 12 Months Contract
  • Placement: Northern Cape, South Africa
  • Due Date: 14 February 2025

Minimum Requirements

To qualify for this learnership, applicants must meet the following criteria:

  • Be a South African citizen with a Grade 12 / National Senior Certificate
  • Have a valid driver’s license
  • Submit SAPS Clearance results (no criminal record)
  • Provide proof of medical examination
  • Permanently reside within the jurisdiction of Joe Morolong Local Municipality

Selection Process

Shortlisted candidates will:

  • Undergo a physical assessment and interview
  • Submit their SAPS Clearance results (other criminal clearance certificates will not be accepted)
  • Maintain fitness levels and participate in ongoing fitness assessments
