The Learner Plant Operator position at Kusile Power Station in Mpumalanga offers a learning opportunity for individuals with qualifications in Mechanical, Electrical, Chemical, or Electronics Engineering. There are 20 positions available, and the task grade for this role is TR5. This opportunity is open to both external and internal candidates.

Minimum Requirements:

Qualifications:

  • National Diploma / BTech / BEng / BSc Eng in Mechanical, Electrical, Chemical, or Electronics Engineering are encouraged to apply.
  • OR Grade 12 with:
    • Maths: 50%
    • Physical Science: 50%
    • English: 40%
  • OR N3 with:
    • Maths: 50%
    • Science: 50%
    • English: 40%
  • OR NCV Level 4 with:
    • Maths: 50%
    • Science: 50%
    • English: 40%

Additional Requirements:

  • Must be a South African citizen.
  • Willingness to go through a recruitment process, with successful applicants being placed in Eskom’s operations.
