An Honours Degree in Zoology or Biodiversity is an added advantage for the Zoology internship.
Minimum Requirements
Applicants must:
- Be unemployed South African graduates.
- Possess the relevant qualification for the internship.
- Not have previously participated in an internship programme within a national or provincial government department or state institution.
- Provide proof of residence from their local municipality or traditional authority.
- Quote the correct reference number when applying.
Duties and Responsibilities
Interns will receive workplace exposure relevant to their qualifications. Depending on the placement, activities may include research, data capturing, administrative support, records management, sport programme coordination and human resource administration.
Specific duties will be allocated by the department.
Skills Gained
The programme offers opportunities to develop professional communication, teamwork, administrative skills, research abilities and practical experience within provincial government.
