Siyathemba Local Municipality is looking for bright, eager learners to join its Electrical Technician Learnership Programme.However, this is for you, If you’ve finished high academy and want to jump straight into a hands ‑ on career with a clear path to a Government Certificate of Competency( GCC).
You’ll learn how to:
- Install, keep, and run electrical networks and machines in the megacity.
- Understand safety rules, wiring rules, and original laws that affect electricity work.
- Help plan jobs, write reports, and check the quality of everything that gets erected or repaired.
- Study how the external power system works and spot areas that need fixing.
- Tell guests why electrical safety matters and how to stay happy with the service.
- Shadow endured staff, learn their tricks, and keep good work records.
- Do other useful specialized tasks your administrator asks for.
Who Should Apply?
- A Diploma in Electrical Engineering or an affiliated field that qualifies you for a Government Certificate of Competency.
- 15 times and aged.
- Curious, ready to learn, and ready to work hard.
- Ready to train and complete the full learnership.
