Stipend

Successful candidates will receive a stipend of R3,800 per month for the duration of the six-month programme.

About the Opportunity

The AVSI University Placement Programme provides Work Integrated Learning opportunities to final-year students who are registered at a university or university of technology and require workplace-based learning to complete their qualifications.

The programme is funded by MICT SETA and is focused on providing students with practical exposure related to their field of study.

Minimum Requirements & Qualifications

Applicants must meet the following requirements:

  • Must be a South African national
  • Must be registered at a university or university of technology
  • Must require Work Integrated Learning (WIL) to complete their qualification
  • Must not be participating in any SETA-funded programme
  • Must be between 18 and 35 years old
  • Must be studying towards a qualification within one of the specified industries
  • People with disabilities are encouraged to apply

  • Information Technology
  • Electronics
  • Film and Electronic Media
  • Telecommunications

Experience / Added Advantage
