The Vodacom Foundation| Youth Development Programme: ICT Internship

Invitation from The Vodacom Foundation for the Youth Development Programme, which places successful campaigners as ICT fellow for a two-year period. The programme offers practical experience in maintaining computer labs, supporting IT outfit, and resolving minor network or connectivity issues. A pay-check is handed throughout the duration of the programme, and placements will be made at seminaries of Excellence, Non-Profit Organisations, or Early Childhood Development Centres located in the listed areas.

Eligible aspirants must have a matric instrument with a normal of at least 50%, an affiliated IT or Specialized Support qualification, and must live within the specified locales.

Position: ICT Coordinator (Youth Development Programme)

Fixed Term: 2 years contract

Stipend: Yes, pay-check handed for the full programme

The Vodacom Foundation is looking for youth with IT chops to place on their Youth Development Programme as ICT coordinator for two years.

  • The programme will offer the successful campaigners an occasion to gain work experience as entry- position IT Technicians.
  • Campaigners will be placed at either a Vodacom Foundation supported School of Excellence, Non-Profit Organisation or Early Child Development Centre for a period of two years. Duties would include conservation of the computer lab & the outfit, troubleshooting, resolving minor network and connectivity issues.
  • Each coordinator will admit a pay-check during the programme.

Coordinator Selection Criteria:

  • Have a matric instrument with an average pass of 50%
  • Have an affiliated or IT Technical Support Qualification
  • Live within the compass of the SOE, NPO or ECD( campaigners who are n’t in the listed areas will NOT be considered)
  • Must be a South African occupant with a valid South African ID( MIE Checks will be conducted)
