Key Performance Areas
- Provide assistance in Circuit fabrication (soldering, kitting, component verification, etc.)
- Support engineers and technicians in electronic hardware fabrication and assembly.
- Support data collection and analysis for system improvements, and reporting.
- Provide assistance in component procurement.
- Support Test and Evaluation Activities.
- Assist with the Manufacture of tooling and test items.
- Setup, operation and maintenance of test equipment.
- Adhere to all applicable legislation within RDM.
- Adheres and implements Rheinmetall Denel Munitions Policies and Procedures and ensures compliance to ISO Standards with respect to SHE /Quality /Environmental/Energy.
Post requirements:
- Minimum Qualification: Diploma in Electronic/Mechatronic Engineering or equivalent.
- Experience in prototyping & design of electronic hardware will be advantageous.
- Experience in 3D printing, CNC routing, and other CNC applications advantageous.
- High degree of responsibility and discipline.
- Good Planning and organizational abilities.
- Clear security screening.
- Basic knowledge of Safety, Health, Environment and Quality (SHEQ) in the workplace.
- Computer literacy, specifically MS Excel and MS Word.
- Code B Driver’s License advantageous.
