- Must have completed a Masters or PhD in chemistry, Water Engineering, Material- Science. Product expression or Chemical engineering
- Studied at a recognised South African institution
- Have not shared in any former graduate programmes
- Below the age of 35 years
- South African Citizen with a valid Identity Document( ID)
- Aspirants should have no work experience related to qualification

Minimal Conditions:
- Four years qualification( NQF 8) in Environmental Health, Submarine Health or Microbiology with Biochemistry, Microbiology, Zoology and/ or molecular biology as a major.
- Experience in exploration systems and ways that can be applied in the field of Microbiology, Toxicology, Submarine Health or Molecular Biology testing.
Primary Duties:
- SHE induction of contractors and new Rand Water workers.
- Examiner contractors’ compliance onsite.
- Coordinating SHE Reps yearly examinations and reporting.
- SHE mindfulness training of workers.
- Conduct daily internal check-ups.
- Examiner adherence to legal & other conditions.
- Coordinate collection & disposal of waste from point.
- CCTV & access control system operation.
- Complete a design as defined by the threat Control fellow.
Knowledge:
- Knowledge of Health, Safety & Environmental legislation introductory knowledge of statistical software Knowledge of ISO 14001, ISO 45001 & ISO 9001 norms.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Packages
