TRONOX KZN Sands are inviting operations for holiday work student at our operations located in Empangeni and Mtunzini, Kwazulu- Natal (South African Citizens Only).
Primary purpose:
To give scholars with an occasion to gain practical work experience (holiday work) related to their field of studies.
These are temporary positions for a period of 2-months from December 2025 to January 2026.
We’re looking for dynamic and tone- motivated individualities with the necessary capability and Intention to enter a holiday Work programme for the following disciplines:
- Electrical Engineering ( Light Current)
- Mechanical Engineering
- Metallurgical Engineering
- Mining Engineering
- Chemical Engineering( Mineral Processing)
- Mining Surveying
Who can apply?
Scholars who:
- In terms of their curriculum, must do holiday work in order to misbehave with course demand to graduate (Proof of similar demand should be handed upon operation).
- Are presently in their 3rd and 4th year of studies.
The following attestation should accompany your operation:
- 1 page terse CV with certified below listed supporting documents( not aged than 3- months
- Identity Document( ID)
- Grade 12 instrument
- History of academic results e.g. a 4th year pupil should shoot from 1st time to June of the 4th year.
- Confirmation letter from university specifying the conditions for the holiday work program.
- Evidence of Residence from Traditional Council( TC)
Note: Preference will be given to aspirants from the following Traditional Councils/ Municipalities

- Successful aspirants will be needed to suffer a medical assessment.
- Psychometric evaluations may form part of the selection process.
