2025 Bursary Programme Application: Dube TradePort

Dube TradePort invites applications from KwaZulu-Natal (KZN) residents for the 2025 Bursary Programme, offering comprehensive funding for eligible students pursuing studies in select disciplines at public institutions within KZN.

Opening Dates: 26 May – 28 May 2025

Placement:  KwaZulu-Natal, South Africa

Level of Study: 1st, 2nd, 3rd, or 4th year students (Bachelor’s Degree level only)

Institutions Covered:

  • University of KwaZulu-Natal (UKZN)
  • Durban University of Technology (DUT)
  • Mangosuthu University of Technology (MUT)
  • University of Zululand (UniZulu)

Fields of Study Funded

  • Engineering Studies
  • Agricultural Studies (Crops/Plants)
  • Maritime Studies (Land-based)
  • Information Technology Studies
  • Built Environment Studies
  • Other qualifications relevant to Dube TradePort Corporation (DTPC)

Who Can Apply?

  • Must be a resident of KwaZulu-Natal Province
  • Must be aged between 18 and 35 years
  • Must be enrolled at a public university in KZN listed above
  • Must demonstrate financial need, academic potential, and meet relevant criteria
  • Bursaries are awarded subject to budget availability

How to Apply:

Email your completed application to: DTPCbursaries@dubetradeport.co.za

Steps:

  • Collect the application form from your institution’s financial aid office
  • Complete the form accurately and attach all required supporting documents
  • Email the completed application to the address above within the application window
  • If shortlisted, you will be contacted by the Dube TradePort bursary office.
