Apprenticeship Requirements
To qualify for the Airlink Apprenticeship program, applicants must meet the following criteria:
Qualifications:
- Grade 12 / Matric Certificate or equivalent qualification with pure Mathematics and a Science subject (minimum result of 65% in both).
- Completion of 35 weeks of theoretical training at a reputable academy for basic theory and practical training in either mechanical, avionic, or another applicable trade, with a minimum pass mark of 75%.
Experience:
- Experience working within the AMO (Approved Maintenance Organization) or engineering environment is preferred, with practical experience working on live aircraft.
Additional Criteria:
- Must be unemployed and willing to commit to a 3-year apprenticeship program.
- An Engineering or Aircraft-related qualification is required.
