Trainee Ending Date: 28 August 2024
The Department of Agriculture and Rural Development presents opportunities for the unemployed youth to enrol in the Trainee program. Successful applicants will enter into a contract for a period of twelve months (12) with the Department. Enrolled Learner will receive a monthly stipend as determined by the Department of Public Service and Administration’s Directive on youth development programmes.
Specific requirements:
Applicants must be South African citizen residing in KwaZulu-Natal, unemployed between ages
of 18 – 35, NQF Level 02/03: Basic enlistment/requirements:
- South Africans who are in possession of AET Level 4/Standard 7/Grade 9/10 or
- Have completed and deemed competent in NQF1/2 in Animal/Plant Production
NQF Level 04: Basic enlistment/requirements: - South Africans who are in possession of Grade 12/Standard 10 and must have passed
English, Mathematics and Natural Sciences. - Have completed and deemed competent in NQF 3 in Animal/Plant Production
