The megacity has published an internship Programme announcement that outlines a 24- month placement with a monthly pay-check of R 5,000. Aspirants will gain practical exposure across precedence services in Libode and Ngqeleni.
Nyandeni Local Municipality is enforcing the Internship Programme 2025 to support public chops development. Successful campaigners will subscribe an externship agreement in addition to an employment contract. Interns will admit structured training, plant supervision, and openings to make unborn employability.
Duration: 24 months
Pay-check: R 5,000 per month
Minimal Conditions
Aspirants must meet all criteria:
- South African citizen.
- Unemployed graduate progressed 18 to 35.
- Holder of an applicable Degree or National Diploma from a recognised University or University of Technology.
Internship Aqueducts and Qualifications
The megacity is retaining for the following services. All qualifications listed are NQF Level 6 or original.
- Municipal Manager’s Office
Communications (1 post): Provide assistance to the Communications section.
Qualification: National Diploma in Public Relations Management or equivalent.
Operations (1 post): Administration and support services to the Public Safety section.
Qualification: National Diploma in Public Management or equivalent.
- Mayor’s Office
Administration (1 post): Administration and support services to the Mayor’s section.
Qualification: National Diploma in Public Management or equivalent.
- Council’s Whip Office
Administration (1 post): Administration and support services to the Chief Whip section.
Qualification: National Diploma in Public Management or equivalent.
How to Apply Get the form Use the Nyandeni Local Municipality Application for Employment form ( not the Z83). Collect it from Nyandeni LM services in Libode and Ngqeleni, or download it from the external.
Prepare documents Attach a:
- Detailed CV
- Clones of qualifications
- ID
- Driver’s licence ( which may not be certified, as stated in the notice).
Failure to include all listed particulars will lead to disqualification.
Package and marker Write “application for internship” on the same side as the address on the envelope, as a separate line, to help the Registry Office route your operation rightly.

Employment Equity and Availability
The megacity encourages operations from ladies, Coloureds, Indians, Whites, and people with disabilities. Aspirants with disabilities should expose the nature of the disability in the space handed on the operation form.
Qualification verification and a felonious record check will be conducted on successful campaigners. Canvassing of councillors or operation isn’t permitted and will affect in disqualification.
