Overview of the NTCSA Intake Programme

The National Transmission Company South Africa (NTCSA) is responsible for operating, maintaining, and expanding the country’s electricity transmission infrastructure. Through this 2026 intake, NTCSA is investing directly in future technical, professional, and artisan capacity aligned with national energy security and infrastructure growth.

South Africa’s energy sector is opening a major pathway for skills development intake in 2026. 174 x Eskom’s NTCSA Learnerships and Internships.

This intake, coordinated by Eskom through its National Transmission Company South Africa (NTCSA), spans multiple provinces and professional disciplines. It combines institutional learning with practical, on-the-job exposure to prepare participants for long-term careers that support South Africa’s electricity transmission network.
