Duration: One- year Contract Appointment

Job Purpose 

To  help the Division Disaster Management with  various  executive and logistical tasks  similar as   aiding in  functional conditioning i.e. responding to incidents disasters,  collecting Disaster Management  reports, coordinating stakeholder engagements;  perpetration of Disaster threat Reduction  enterprise;  liaising with Disaster Management  part- players regarding Disaster Management issues i.e. incidents, early  advising etc;  perpetration of training and  mindfulness  enterprise and the provision of general  executive  support. 

Conditions:

National Diploma or Degree in:

  • Disaster Management, Public Administration, Office Administration or a  applicable qualification
  • Certified  copy of academic records with results  distance must accompany the  operation
  • Valid code B  Driver’s licence
  • Computer  knowledge( MS Word, MS Excel, MS PowerPoint, Civilians( minimum  demand is the capability to use  Google Earth)
  • Excellent communication and written chops in at least two of the three  sanctioned languages of the Western  Cape
  • Physically fit
  • Capability to work in  tempestuous rainfall conditions 

All- inclusive periodic  payment:  R  75,600.00

originally completed   operations, accompanied by firstly- certified true  clones of qualification  instruments( degrees, warrants,  instruments, academy  instruments, etc) as well as  needed  motorist’s licenses, Professional motorist’s Permits and enrolment   instruments from  professional bodies, where applicable, are to be submitted to the Municipal Manager, Cape Winelands District Municipality,  P.O. Box 100, Stellenbosch, 7599 in a sealed envelope and  championed with the applicable post name on the envelope.  It should be noted that  operations that don’t cleave to the below- mentioned conventions won’t be considered, neither  will late, faxed and/ or electronic  operations be considered.

Please note that  campaigners whom  formerly completed a 2- years internship programme at the Cape Winelands District Municipality won’t be considered for an  internship  occasion again. 

In the event of any inconsistency between the English, Afrikaans and isiXhosa  announcement, the English  announcement will  prevail. 

Please note that, should no feedback be entered by 30 November 2025 campaigners may assume that their operations have been   unprofitable.  Canvassing will qualify a seeker.
