Overview
The charge of the Free State Office of the Premier is to give strategic direction and to coordinate intertwined service delivery within government in the Free State. The Office provides support to the Premier and the Executive Council, and equals and gives strategic direction to Free State Provincial Government departments and cosmopolises. The functions of the Office are captured in the following three strategic pretensions the Premier and the Executive Council are effectively supported in achieving government’s pretensions and precedences; departments in the Free State Provincial Government are strategically guided and coordinated with regard to transverse commercial support functions; and conditioning of departments and cosmopolises in the Free State are integrated and aligned towards the achievement of the pretensions and precedences of government.
The Free State’s Office of the Premier, a crucial element of the parochial government, plays a vital part in enforcing parochial legislation, developing and coordinating programs, and icing effective administration. It supports the Premier, the Executive Council, and the Director- General in colorful capacities, including policy collaboration, planning, exploration, and monitoring. The office also focuses on sound fiscal operation and intergovernmental relations.
