P1 & P2 Experiential Training Opportunities

This practical training programme is designed for students who need to complete their P1 and P2 workplace exposure to obtain a National Diploma.

Available Disciplines:

  • Metallurgy
  • Electrical Engineering
  • Mechanical Engineering

Minimum Requirements:

  • Grade 12 Certificate
  • National Diploma (S4) in relevant discipline
  • Must submit proof of residence (preference given to local communities near Glencore Coal SA operations)
  • Must meet Employment Equity targets
  • Willingness to undergo assessments and interviews

Programme Details

  • Duration: 12 months
  • Purpose: Provide experiential learning required to complete National Diploma qualifications
  • Stipend: Monthly stipend provided
