Job Description
Star retailers situated in the heart of Phoenix are seeking Finance Interns to join their existing team. The group is based in the FMCG industry and has supermarkets under its banner. As finance interns, your primary purpose is to assist the Finance Department with schedules, reconciliations, data analysis, and reports. You will report directly to the Group Finance Manager.
Key Responsibilities

- Assisting with the processing of intercompany invoices.
- Fixed Asset Register maintenance supported by the management accountant
- Reconciliation on income, expense, asset, and liability accounts
- Assistance with reports to analyze trends.
- Provide daily support to the finance team as and when required.
- Assisting the Accounts payable accountant with credit applications and ad hoc tasks.
- General assistance to the Financial Controller and Management Accountant.
Essential Requirements:
- Completed degree in Bachelor of Commerce (BCom) – Accounting Degree or Bachelor of Technology (BTech) in Cost and Management Accounting
- Computer literate. (MS Word and MS Excel) / Workbook creating
- Willingness to learn and contribute
