- Bsc Agriculture in Animal Science
- The candidate must be 18-35 years of age

- The preference will be given to the candidate who graduated with University of Venda
Job Duties
- Assist with daily livestock care and management, including feeding, health checks, and record-keeping.
- Monitor growth performance, reproduction, and disease management in livestock.
- Participate in the development of feeding programs and ration formulation.
- Assist in implementing animal welfare practices.
- Perform routine data collection and analysis on livestock performance.
- Support vaccination, deworming, and other veterinary interventions

- Recommend soil improvement measures such as fertilization, liming, or organic matter incorporation.
- Assist in erosion control and soil conservation practices.
- Monitor the effects of different cropping systems and land management practices on soil health.
- Document and report on soil management activities and results.
- Assist in research and development of high-yield crop varieties.
- Monitor crop growth and performance under various environmental conditions.
- Participate in pest and disease control strategies.

JOB DUTIES
- Participate in the capacitation of agricultural cooperative members.
- Train identified farmers on agricultural economics aspects.
- Collect data, analysis and write of reports for a community research project.
- Assist in identifying and linking agribusiness entities for students’ practical activities.

- Support the implementation of forest regeneration and reforestation programs.
- Assist in managing agroforestry systems, integrating trees with crops or livestock.
