Programme Overview:
Thos Begbie & Co (Pty) Ltd, a company with over 136 years of experience serving the mining industry in South Africa, invites unemployed youth to apply for an apprentice training programme in the following field:
- Moulders x2
Responsibilities:
- Preparing and assembling moulds.
- Working with different materials, such as sand, resin, or metals.
- Operating machinery and tools safely.
- Ensuring high-quality production standards.
- Maintaining a clean and safe work environment.
Requirements:
- Must have at least Grade 12 (Matric).
- Minimum N2 Certificate with:
- Mathematics
- Engineering Science
- Engineering Drawing
- N2 Moulders Theory or N3 Mechanotechnology or N4 Mechatronics
Additional Requirements:
- Technical knowledge.
- Self-motivated and disciplined.
- Good ethical behavior and willingness to learn.
- Ability to observe safety standards and manage time effectively.
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
- No prior experience required—just enthusiasm and a can-do attitude!
