The Office of the Ombud for Financial Services Providers( FAIS Ombud) is established in terms of the Financial Advisory and Central Services Act, 37 of 2002( the FAIS Act). It’s ideal is to consider and dispose of complaints in a procedurally fair, informal, provident and ready manner and by reference to what’s indifferent in all circumstances.
Job Description
In order to discharge its accreditation, the FAIS Ombud seeks to appoint Graduate Trainees as part of the Graduate Recruitment Programme. This is a structured programme specifically designed to produce a channel of competent trainee entrants to the labour request.
Roll out of the Programme Recommended campaigners will be given an occasion to learn under a devoted tutor. Graduates will be assigned to the Case Management/ Adjudication Department and exposed to colorful faculty- grounded training.

Job Conditions
- South African citizen with a valid South African Identity document.
- LLB degree.
- PLT (Practical Legal Training) will be an advantage.
- Passion for public service and an interest/ desire to work in the Financial Sector.
- Strong academic background.
- Must be suitable to work in a stressful terrain, willing to learn and work redundant hours.
- Energetic, tone- driven and deadline driven.
- Must be computer knowledgeable.
