Duties and Liabilities

  • Help in data entry, attestation, and processing of pupil records across the fivesub-departments
  • Give general support for colorful pupil academic services similar as registration and academic record conservation
  • Support the communication operations of the department with scholars via dispatch, phone, or in person regarding executive queries
  • Support the Enrolment Administration sub-department with the admissions process for all faculties
  • Help in the operations related to pupil registration for new and returning scholars
  • Help in maintaining admission- related records of scholars
  • Help in maintaining accurate pupil academic records, reiterations, and instruments in the system
  • Support the medication of academic progress reports and identify scholars eligible for qualification awards
  • Help in the operation of the examination processes and help during examination ages
  • Help in preparing for scale observances, including vindicating scale information
  • Assisting in any scale- related conditioning as instructed
  • Help with scheduling processes for class and examination calendars in PeopleSoft Campus results
  • Give support for the collaboration of academic venue bookings and class data operation
  • Insure adherence to programs, procedures, guidelines, and opinions to guarantee compliance
  • Keep up to date with changes in protocols and processes to insure compliance
  • Work nearly with applicable divisions to keep up to date with developments
  • Keep up to date with public and institutional changes in protocols and processes and insure compliance in line with part specifications
  • Corroborate the delicacy and absoluteness of documents submitted for processing
  • Quality assurance of documents (reiterations etc.) and responses entered from the colorful services to insure the correctness thereof before subscribing off/ furnishing feedback to the panhandler
  • Insure that the query is resolved and that the client/ stakeholder has entered feedback or update
  • Support data confirmation and conciliation processes to identify and resolve disagreement in pupil records and reiterations (scholars and academic data)
  • Examiner data entry and record- keeping practices to maintain data integrity and quality across all pupil administration conditioning
  • Coordinate with applicable stakeholders to resolve data quality issues and insure proper attestation and reporting
  • Share in quality assurance shops, meetings, and training sessions to advocate for quality norms and promote a culture of nonstop enhancement
  • Share in training sessions and development openings offered within SAS to enhance knowledge and chops in academic administration
  • Attend departmental and divisional meetings to gain sapience into the strategic functioning of the department.

Inherent requirements:

  • A National Diploma/Advanced Certificate on NQF Level 6 in one of the relevant fields related to the duties set out above (Administration/Office Administration/Administrative Management/Public Management/Business Management/Business Administration/Communication/Public relations/Computer sciences/Computer Information systems/Data Management/Project Management).

Recommendations:

  • Basic computer literacy (Microsoft 360 and related Microsoft software).

The following criteria apply to the selection of candidates:

  • The applicant should not currently be participating in an existing learnership/internship programme
  • The applicant should not have any previous formal work experience
  • The applicant must be willing to sign an internship agreement with UFS.
