Still, this programme is designed for you, if you’re ready to start a meaningful career in the construction sector. In cooperation with the Construction Education and Training Authority (CETA), Letaba TVET College provides a three- time internship that equips learners with the chops and experience needed to come completely good crafters.
- Carpentry Internship x20 Posts
Carpenters are in high demand across domestic, marketable, and artificial construction systems. During the internship, you’ll develop practical chops similar as:
- Roof architecture and installation
- Door and window befitting
- Formwork and structural finishing
- Accurate dimension ways
- Compliance with health and safety norms
- Bricklaying Internship x30 Posts
Bricklayers are vital to construction systems of all sizes. Interns will gain moxie in:
- Laying bricks and blocks efficiently
- Trouncing and finishing walls
- Reading and interpreting structure plans
- Setting out foundations rightly
- Maintaining construction point safety
Eligibility Conditions
Aspirants must:
- Be South African citizens
- Be jobless
- Hold an NQF position 4/ NCV position 4 qualification in Carpentry or Bricklaying with all subjects passed
- Not have preliminarily shared in an internship, learnership, or chops programme
- Preference will be given to current Letaba TVET College scholars.
Our Background
The Central Office shares premise with Tzaneen campus; Maake Campus is 24 km while Giyani campus is 112 km and Modjadji campus is 24 km away from the Central Office.
The College is currently offering programmes, which are addressing the main economic drivers. In 2021, the College introduced Farming Management at Maake Campus and Mechanical engineering at Giyani Campus.
The College has also partnered with private training providers to offer the much-needed skills through occupational programmes in Plant Production, Poultry Production, Food beverage packaging operations, Building and Civil Construction and Electrical Engineering.
