Job Description

Vaal Central Water invites suitably qualified and unemployed graduates to apply for participation in its Graduate Development Programme (GDP). The programme aims to provide graduates with hands-on experience, mentorship, and skills development in various fields within the water sector.

Vaal Central Water is a bulk water service provider, a State-owned Entity, categorized as a Schedule 3B, National Government Enterprise, established in terms of the Water Services Act No.108 of 1997 and Public Finance Management Act No. 1 of 1999 as amended.

Since its establishment, the Entity has grown to the Free State and Northern Cape areas previously serviced by the former Sedibeng Water after incorporation with Bloem Water from August 2022.

Its customer base covers the following Municipalities: Mangaung Metropolitan, Mantsopa, Kopanong, Matjhabeng, Nala, Nama Khoi, Khai-Ma, Dikgatlong, Tsantsabane, Joe Morolong, Phokwane, Gamagara and Ga-Segonyana Local Municipalities, a total of twenty-six (26) Mines in both the Free State and Northern Cape Provinces, Six (6) solar generation plants in the Northern Cape, Kalahari East Water Users Association in the Northern Cape, and other stakeholders that Municipalities cannot service within the area of service for the Entity.
