Invitation from Stellenbosch Municipality for suitably good youths to apply for three ( 3) Internship positions within the Directorate Planning & Economic Development, Department Integrated Human agreements.
This occasion is ideal for youths in planning, development, engineering, and erected- terrain fields who want practical original- government experience in one of South Africa’s most dynamic cosmopolises.

Monthly Allowance:
- Bachelor’s Degree R6 500 per month
- Honours Degree R8 000 per month
- Master’s Degree R9 000 per month
About the Department
The Integrated Human Settlements Department forms part of the Directorate Planning & Economic Development and plays a critical part in:
- Housing development enterprise
- Informal settlements management
- Housing administration
- Supporting processes to effect title deed transfers
Interns will work nearly with mortal agreement directors and gain real exposure to external planning and casing delivery systems.
Minimal Conditions
Aspirants must meet all of the following criteria:
A Bachelor’s Degree or Diploma at NQF Level 7 in one of the following ( or related fields)
- Development Planning
- Town Planning
- Engineering
- Human settlements
- Construction Management
- Project Management
- Development Studies
Academic Background
Aspirants must have academic training in at least two ( 2) of the ensuing areas:
- Spatial Planning
- Land Use Management
- Development Facilitation
- Development Information (GIS)
- Integrated Human agreements
- Project Management
Chops and capabilities needed:
- Strong computer knowledge (MS Office and Civilians)
- Excellent written and verbal communication chops
- Capability to draft reports and sanctioned documents
- High attention to detail and responsibility
- Capability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
Proficiency in at least two of the Western Cape functionary languages
- English
- Afrikaans
- isiXhosa
Key Duties and liabilities:
The successful interns will:
- Help mortal agreement directors with diurnal functional functions
- Support casing development and informal agreements projects
- Help with casing administration and title deed processes
- Contribute to planning, reporting, and design collaboration conditioning
- Support integrated mortal agreements delivery within the megacity
Recommendation
- Preference may be given to aspirants who live in or near the Stellenbosch Municipal area
- Aspirants who preliminarily submitted CVs for externship openings will also be considered
