Job Purpose
The Western Cape Government invites jobless South African graduates abiding in the Western Cape to apply for the Graduate Internship Programme for 2025/2027. This is a Youth Development Programme that provides successful interns the occasion to gain precious practical work experience for a period of 2- times.
Minimal Conditions
- You desire an opportunity to gain practical work experience by entering an internship/developmental programme in government for the first time.
- You are a South African citizen and reside in the Western Cape.
- You are between the ages of 18 – 35 years.
- Completed Grade 12 in Western Cape.
- You are in possession of a completed:
- Certificate (NQF 5),
- Diploma (NQF 6),
- Degree (NQF 7) or
- Post Graduate Qualification (NQF 8 and higher)
Suitable qualifications in line with below mentioned fields of study:
- Sport Science,
- Communication/Journalism,
- Community Development,
- Finance.
- Administration related fields.
Recommendation
- You’re financially constrained and you have no network or support to help you make career choices.
Crucial Performance Areas
On- the- job training will be handed in one of the following departments
- Agriculture.

Capabilities
Chops demanded
- Good communication( writtenand verbal) chops in at least two of the sanctioned languages of the Western Cape;

Remuneration
- The appointed interns will admit a monthly pay-check of R7 860.00.
Notes
- Preference will be given to the scholars that studied at Institutions in the Western Cape.
