Summary
Rand Water invites aspirants from suitably good and preliminarily underprivileged individualities to apply. The purpose of this qualification is to give the learner with the needed knowledge, practical chops and plant- grounded experience to prepare the learner to operate as a Procurement Officer. A Procurement Officer coordinates the procurement and force of goods and services, manages contracts and accommodations with suppliers, and monitors the perpetration of procurement schedules.
Minimal Conditions
- Aspirants mustn’t be employed.
- Aspirants mustn’t be enrolled with any institution for a qualification nor be registered in any Learnership Programme.
- Aspirants mustn’t be in possession of a completed post-matric qualification
NB Failure to expose post-matric qualifications will affect in aspirant being disqualified)
- Aspirants in possession of a post-matric qualification mustn’t apply and won’t be considered.
- Aspirants must have a Matric( Grade 12) with Mathematics knowledge and English( minimum of Level 4 in ALL the subjects)
- Aspirants must submit/ attach SAQA/ NLRD verification report( Accessible from SAQA website)
- Aspirants must be a South African citizen and be in possession of a valid SA ID.
- Aspirants must be between 18 and 35 times of age( in line with the NSDSIII).

Applicants who are deaf or hard of hail should be suitable to give their own practitioners at their own costs, since this is a learnership and they should be suitable to Hear and Communicate

Primary Duties:
- Develop and maintain perpetration of functional schedules for procurement and force
- Manage procurement and force connections and contracts
- Examiner and measure procurement and force performance
Liabilities during Learnership Programme
- Attend classes as part of the learnership programme
- Share in conversations and conditioning during class
- Complete assignments and systems as needed
- Write assessments and complete practical logbook to estimate knowledge and understanding
Knowledge
- Rand Water Mandate and its donation to the water sector.
Chops
- Communication chops (verbal and spoken).
