Conditions
- Grade 12 or original
- Fire 1 & 2 Hazmat Awareness and Operations or Equivalent.
- First aid Level 3 or Basic Ambulance Course
- Code C driver’s License
- Medically and physically fit to conduct functional duties
- Must be suitable to swim
- Campaigners shouldn’t suffer from any phobias e.g. claustrophobia, acrophobia
- Experience or knowledge regarding fire and deliverance will be an added advantage
- A hard working and tone- chastened person
- 3 Months externship experience will be an added advantage.
Duties:
- Responding on diurnal tasks and orders from the Station Officer. – Attendance to the plant. – Testing and checking of vehicles and outfit. – drawing of outfit and vehicles. – Reporting of any malfunctions to the officer on duty. – help with combatting of fires by responding with elderly labor force to incidents. – clinging to command on scenes. – Fighting of lawn and wild land and structural fires. – guarding property from fires as well as fire outfit. – Attending to control room duties when needed. – Any other tasks given to him her by his/ her superior. – Deliverance work.
Sedibeng region aspirants will be given preference
Payment: R8 786.58 p.m. (R 105 439.00 sire)
Duration: 03 year contract
