Duties and Liabilities
- Receive parcels and sort incoming correspondence
- Circulate central communication to GPS mecca staff
- Keep GPS mecca staff list up to date
- Type and modernize the GPS mecca staff administration( telephone list, birthday list)
- Train and keep records of GPS mecca caller’s log and office crucial operation
- Coordinate and insure that event always runs easily( incl. lunch times leave)
- Coordinate the venue booking of participated spaces in GPS mecca and Modlec meeting venues
- Unite with CTL/ Pupil Affairs executive support as and when needed
- Coordinate signing in/ eschewal of GPS mecca central keys
- Issue keys when requested for staff
- Welcome all callers to GPS mecca
- Direct callers to the applicable services or venues
- Subscribe in/ eschewal of all callers to GPS mecca
- Give first- line support to general GPS mecca enquiries from callers
- Talk to scholars and staff members to gain and give information
- Answer general telephone/ dispatch communication.
Essential Job Conditions
- A B-degree on NQF Level 7 in Office Management/Business Administration/Public Administration/Communications/Human Resources Management.
The following criteria apply to the selection of campaigners:
- The aspirant shouldn’t presently be sharing in an being learnership/ externship programme
- The aspirant shouldn’t have any former formal work experience
- The aspirant must be willing to subscribe an externship agreement with UFS.
Recommendations:
- Good organisational chops and the capability to manage events processes effectively and singly
- Proven computer chops, including but not limited to MS Outlook, Word, Excel and PowerPoint
- Capability to work effectively with others and have good interpersonal chops
- Capability to work well under pressure
- Excellent communication chops (written and verbal).
