The council invites operations for its Engineering Internship Programme, which offers 47 externship placements in Electrical and Mechanical Engineering. This programme is aimed at empowering youthful South Africans with practical plant experience to round their academic qualifications.
To qualify for the Ekurhuleni East TVET College Engineering Internship, aspirants must meet the following criteria:
- Education: Grade 12, NC( V) position 4, or N3 with at least 50% in English and Mathematics.
- Qualification: TVET College N3 – N6 Certificate in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering.
- More: A valid motorist’s license.
- Age: Between 18 and 35 times old.
Campaigners must also be prepared to do:
- Assessments
- Interviews
- Medical check- ups
- Reference checks
- Verification of felonious records

Aspirants must submit clear, pukka clones of the following documents (with visible prints that don’t lap information)
- A detailed CV with streamlined contact details.
- Pukka dupe of ID document.
- Pukka dupe of motorist’s license.
- Grade 12 or NC (V) position 4 instrument.
- Pukka N3 – N6 instruments.
- Evidence of hearthstone.
- Evidence of account (not a bank statement).
