Monthly Allowance: R 12,000 per month
The National Gambling Board (NGB) is established in terms of the National Gambling Act, (NGA) 2004 (Act 7 of 2004). It’s a schedule 3A Public Entity in terms of the Public Finance Management Act, 1999 (Act 1 of 1999). The NGB makes provision for the collaboration of concurrent public and parochial legislative capability over matters relating to the continued regulation of gambling conditioning and also makes provision for the establishment of invariant morals and norms applicable throughout the Republic in certain gambling conditioning.
Purpose
The NGB invites jobless graduates to apply for internship positions in the following disciplines: Enforcement, Gaming Control and Marketing & Communications.
- Enforcement – NGB/Int 003-2025
National Diploma in Policing or Bachelor’s Degree in Law/LLB

- Gaming Control (GCCD) – NGB/Int 005-2025;
Three (3) years National Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree in Information Technology or in Computer Science

- Marketing and Communications (CSRD) – NGB/Int 006-2025;
Three (3) years National Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing, Communications, Public Relations or in Journalism

Preference will be given to preliminarily underprivileged campaigners and those living with disabilities.
The nominee will be needed to enter into a twelve (12) months fixed term contract with the NGB (non-renewable). Successful campaigners will be subordinated to Personnel felicity checks and security concurrence. It’s the responsibility of campaigners with foreign qualifications to have them vindicated by the South African Qualifications Authority( SAQA). Feedback will be handed to only shortlisted campaigners, who’ll be canvassed on a date and time specified by the NGB.
