The Mining Qualifications Authority (MQA) is a Sector Education and Training Authority (SETA) operating under the Department of Higher Education and Training (DHET). The MQA is commanded by the Chops Development Act (SDA) 97 of 1998 to drive chops development within the mining and minerals sector( MMS). Its compass covers a different range of sub-sectors, including Coal Mining, Gold Mining, Platinum Group Essence( PGM) Mining, Diamond Mining, other mining goods, Cement, Lime, summations, and Beach, as well as Mineral processing, Diamond Processing, and Jewellery Manufacturing.
The MQA would like to invite qualifying individualities to apply for an externship occasion within its Quality Assurance Unit. Unemployed individualities who have noway shared in an externship programme are invited to apply. The successful intern will be appointed for a period of twenty- four( 24) months. This occasion is available to South African Citizens only.
Reporting to the Manager Quality Assurance, the successful seeker will be exposed to laboriously share and gain exposure in the ensuing areas:
- Quality Assurance Partner
- Development Quality Partner
- Assessment Quality Partner
- Identify and conduct Workplace blessings( WPA)
- Quality Assurance monitoring and assessment process
- Learner Management System and records database
- Learner instrument
- Quality Management System and document control
- Performing any other tasks delegated by the Senior Manager Quality Assurance and the directors Quality Assurance in the Quality Assurance Unit
- Quality Assurance Intern
Minimum Conditions
- A grade 12 or Matric Certificates.
- National Diploma in Human Resources Development/Management or Administration at NQF Level 6.
- A Bachelor’s degree or an equivalent (NQF Level 7 qualification in the above-mentioned fields) will be an added advantage.
- Skills Development and Research Intern

Qualifications
- National Diploma in Social Sciences, Commerce or Human Resources with Economics and/or Statistics or equivalent qualification at (NQF Level 6)
- A Bachelor’s Degree in Social Sciences, Commerce or Human Resources with Economics and/or Statistics; or equivalent qualification at (NQF Level 7) will be an added advantage
- Communication Intern
Minimal Conditions
- A grade 12 or Matric certificate.
- National Diploma or equivalent at NQF level 6 in the Communications field.
- Bachelor’s degree or an equivalent NQF Level 7 qualification in the above-mentioned fields will be an added advantage.
- Learning Programmes Strategic systems
Minimal Conditions
- A grade 12 or Matric certificate.
- National Diploma in Human Resources Management/Development, Business Management. Business Administration/ Public Management or Project Management at NQF Level 6.
- Bachelor’s degree or an equivalent NQF Level 7 qualification in the above-mentioned fields will be an added advantage.
Capabilities
- Good communication and sound interpersonal chops.
- An understanding of chops development legislation in respect of education and training.
- Capability to work under pressure.
- A visionary station.
- Attention to detail.
- Proficiency in MS Office packages.
