Internship ideal
The purpose of this graduate occasion is to give exposure to the statutory control department that fulfils the control function on the public road network within the Western and Northern Cape businesses. The intern will be introduced to the business processes; the underpinning legal vittles; and the applicable factors that are considered in the processing of operations as entered from the public. Experience will be gained by observing and interacting with the applicable labor force in the processing of these operations.
Minimal Conditions
- A National Diploma in Civil Engineering/ Land Survey/ Town and Regional Planning, Paralegal qualification.
- No work experience needed.
Key Liabilities
- Under the supervision of the Statutory Control Officer the intern will help the office to reuse and consider statutory control operations in terms of the vittles of the South African National Roads SOC Limited and National Roads Acts, Act 7 of 1998
- These include inter alias
- Help with the processing of wayl eave operations for services in the public road reserve whether crossing or in resemblant to the public roads- S48 of the Act
- Help with the processing of land branch operations S49 of the Act
- Help with operations for out-of-door advertising along public roads and the junking of illegal announcements- S50 help with the operations and blessings for excursionists related information road signs
- Help with the reporting of claims in cases where damage to public roads passed.
- Engage with design directors route directors to gain input( to the extent needed) in order to reuse operations as noted over
- Help to give feedback to queries entered from the design directors route directors regarding the nonsupervisory rules as it pertains to the public road legislation
Placements will be in agreement with SANRAL’ s externship policy. Thus propinquity of aspirants to the applicable SANRAL services will be taken into consideration.

In order for SANRAL to conduct these checks a concurrence form needs to be completed and inked by the aspirant.
