This two- years action is acclimatized for jobless graduates eager to launch their careers in finance while gaining in- depth knowledge of external operations. What’s Municipal Financial Internships?
The Municipal Financial Management Internship Programme is a structured action aimed at empowering youthful graduates with practical plant exposure. Hosted by the Matzikama Municipality’s Finance Directorate, the programme provides experience in crucial fiscal areas similar as profit and expenditure operation Asset operation Budget planning, monitoring, and control fiscal reporting and control force chain and procurement processes. This externship serves as a stepping gravestone for graduates who want to make strong careers in fiscal operation and public administration.
Minimal Conditions
Aspirants must meet the following criteria to qualify:
- A three- year Bachelor’s Degree or National Diploma with major subjects in Accounting, Economics, Finance, Risk Management, Auditing
- Computer knowledge
- Good communication chops in at least two of the three sanctioned languages of the Western Cape( Afrikaans, English, isiXhosa)
- A valid code B driver’s Licence
Part Responsibility:
- Interns will be laboriously involved in the megacity’s fiscal processes, including Executing programme- driven fiscal operation tasks
- Supporting profit, expenditure, and asset operation conditioning aiding with budget medication, monitoring, and control sharing in force chain operation and procurement functions
- Gaining exposure to fiscal systems and external governance practices
Skills and Attributes:
- Successful campaigners should demonstrate the following
- Strong logical and problem- working chops
- Capability to work singly and in a platoon terrain
- Attention to detail and delicacy in fiscal tasks
- Good written and verbal communication chops amenability to learn and acclimatize within an external terrain
Important Notes for aspirants:
Aspirants will suffer reference checks, qualification verification, and felonious record webbing A valid SAPS Clearance Certificate( not aged than 6 months) or evidence of operation is needed Canvassing with councillors, panel members, or staff will affect in disqualification still, aspirants should consider their operations unprofitable If no feedback is entered within six weeks after the due date.
- Preference will be given to campaigners in line with the Employment Equity Act and the Municipality’s Employment Equity Plan
- The Municipality reserves the right not to make an appointment
