Internship Programme – 2025 / 26 Financial Year
The Mpumalanga Tourism and Parks Agency (MTPA) invites applications from unemployed graduates who have completed a post school qualification to apply for a twelve (12) months Graduate Internship for Financial Year 2025/2026. The following field of study from a Public University or University of Technology will be considered: Post Graduate Diploma (NQF LEVEL 8) in the following field of studies:
- Environmental Science X 06
- Wildlife Management X 06
- Tourism and Hospitality Management X 04
- Human Resources Management X 05
- Graphic Design X 03
The programme is designed to give University and University of Technology graduates an opportunity to extend their academic qualifications with structured workplace exposure and specialised training. The purpose of which is to provide the graduates with workplace experience that builds on the qualification.

Qualifying criteria:
- Unemployed South Africans between the ages of 18 and 35 years.
- NQF Level 8 qualification in the following field of study: Environmental Sciences, Wildlife Management. Tourism and Hospitality Management, Human Resources Management, and Graphic Design
- Must be residing in the Mpumalanga Province.
- People living with disabilities are encouraged to apply.
How to apply:
- Applicants are invited to submit a covering letter, Curriculum Vitae (CV), relevant qualification and academic records for any of the above field of study. Copy of Identity Document (ID copy) and Valid proof of residence.
- Applicants must specify on the covering letter the qualification they are applying for, and the name of the Baste Station or Unit they are applying for.
- Submit to any of the nearest MTPA Nature Reserve or hand deliver the application at the MTPA Head Office, N4 National Road, Hall’s Gateway, Mataffin, Block J Office J18.
- Only hand delivered applications will be considered.
