SHERQ Learner: NCP Chlorchem

Purpose of the job

To provide learnership opportunity for a learner with interests and aspirations in the SHERQ function. This programme aims to develop and produce a competent SHERQ professional who will contribute and support the NCP Cato legal/statutory compliance, risk management, quality assurance and continuous improvement.

Duration: 12 Months

Key performance area

  • Attend theoretical and practical learning components within the SHERQ function.
  • Complete logbooks and summative assessments.
  • Carry out all workplace experience activities aligned to safety, health, environmental, risk, and quality requirements within the NCP Chlorchem environment.

Knowledge/Skills/Competencies

  • Computer literacy in MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint)
  • Good interpersonal skills
  • Attention to detail.
  • Planning and organising skills.
  • Good verbal and written communication skills.

Experience

  • No experience is required.

Qualifications:

  • Matric with Mathematics & Sciences

Personal Circumstances:

  • Must be able to obtain a satisfactory medical report from the companies’ medical centre.
