ABOUT EASTC
Ekurhuleni Artisans Skills & Training College is a practical training college that focuses strongly on employable skills training in various technical trades. We have 3 entities in total that are made up of our Technical College, our NATED Business & Engineering Varsity, and our recently launched EASTC Technical School. EASTC invites unemployed South African youth to apply for Apprenticeship Programme 2025.

Apprenticeship Trades Offered:
- Electrical
- Bricklaying
- Plumbing
These apprenticeships are designed to provide industry-relevant, practical training that equips learners with the tools to thrive in South Africa’s growing technical job market.
Minimum Requirements:
- For Electrical: Grade 12 certificate
- For Bricklaying and Plumbing: Minimum Grade 10 certificate
- Certified copy of South African ID
- Updated Curriculum Vitae (CV)
- Must be under the age of 35

This training is done on a Customer’s or another premises. The courses we offer as well as number of students per course are restricted. The Customer must supply all the necessary equipment and consumables required for the specific course. The capacity on all courses for the total of students that can be trained at a time is 30. The subjects that can be trained are also restricted and is mainly welding and civil works that include Bricklaying, Painting, Carpentry, Tiling, Glazing, Roof Fixing and Plumbing. Electrical and Air-conditioning & Refrigeration courses are restricted. This type of training must be arranged well in advance of training dates with Admin Staff / Management.
