Sasria SOC Ltd is a state-owned company and the only short-term insurer that provides cover to all the people and businesses that have assets in South Africa, as well as government entities, against special risks such as civil commotion, public disorder, strikes, riots and terrorism. The following Internship Opportunities are open for applications:

Internal Audit Intern

The incumbent will be required to work closely with the IT Auditors and Senior IT Auditors for training, coaching and guidance.When required, the incumbent will be expected to assist with advisory and consulting services as part of their training.The intern will Assist the IT Auditors and Senior IT Auditors to perform IT audit reviews in line with the audit plan and IT internal audit methodology.

Qualifications:

BSc (Computer Science) or,
BCom/ 3 yrs National Diploma Internal Audit/ Finance
Or Equivalent Degree / 3 yrs National Diploma qualification

Applications Support Intern

The intern will gain exposure and training on how to provide support to end users with all applications e.g., Microsoft Dynamics 365, Claims System, etc.

Qualifications: Relevant Diploma/ Degree in;-

Information Technology or
Computer Studies

Information and Records Management Intern

The Information and Records Intern will assist with various IRM and Compliance duties of the organisation and will assist with enhancing compliance, operational efficiency, risk mitigation, and the advancement of digital transformation. This role will ensure that records are systematically arranged, preserved, and readily accessible, which will facilitate the organisation’s smooth operation and compliance with regulatory standards.

Qualifications: Tertiary qualification (Degree/Diploma) in;-

Library Science,
Information Science
Or Related Records Management qualification

Process Analyst Intern

The intern will gain exposure and training in the design and implementation of our organisation processes, ensure optimal integration of processes, people and technology by interactively analysing, researching, designing, recommending and implementing innovative and efficient business processes

Qualifications: Bachelor’s Degree in;-

Industrial Engineering,
Information Technology
Or a related field.

Project Management Intern

The intern will gain exposure and training in the IT Governance, Risk, and Cybersecurity team by assisting with governance processes, compliance assessments, risk identification, and cybersecurity initiatives. This includes supporting incident response processes, assisting with patch management, and responding to security alerts as part of a structured learning and development experience.

Qualifications:

Degree/Advanced Diploma in;-

Network Specialist Intern

The Junior Network Specialist Intern will gain hands-on experience in networking, IT operations and infrastructure.

The intern will assist in maintaining, troubleshooting, and optimizing network performance while working alongside experienced professionals.

Qualifications:

Completed a Diploma/Degree in;-
- IT,
- Computer Science,
- Or a related field.
Certifications like CCNA (Cisco Certified Network Associate) or CompTIA Network+ (Advantageous)
